How old do players have to be in order to play Rec Baseball? 

In order to play Tee-Ball, players have to be 5 as of May 1 (birthdays before 4/30/2014).
Oldest players are 12  (birthdays on or after May 1, 2006).

How much does it cost per player for Rec Baseball? 

  • 1 Player: $50
  • 2 Players: $90
  • 3 Players: $130
  • 4 Players: $130 (buy 3 get one FREE!) 
Each player is required to sell candy. If you do not wish to participate in selling candy, you can opt-out and pay $30 per player instead. This is due at the time of the registration.  If you choose to sell candy, you are not charged during registration. 
There is also a refundable fee of $25 for concession stand operations due at the time of registration. When you complete one shift at the concession stand, the $25 will be refunded. This is charged ONCE per family.
Please register all players at the same time to receive the multiplayer discount as well as a one-time, refundable $25 concession operations fee. 

What is included with the cost of registration for Rec Baseball? 

The league will provide each player with: 
  • 1 hat 
  • 1 jersey
  • 1 pants
  • 1 socks
During games and practices, the league will have the following available: 
  • age appropriate baseballs
  • baseball bats
  • helmets
If your player would like to use their own equipment, they are more than welcome to do so.

What do I have to purchase for my Rec Baseball player? 

  • Cleats are not required for Tee-ball, however they are recommended. Playing in cleats for the first year will help get them used to the feeling of running in them when the games are less intense. 
  • Glove
  • Base layers for cold days
Bantam, Minor, Major: 
  • Cleats
  • Glove
  • Batting Gloves (OPTIONAL)
It is nice to have equipment at home to practice with, but not required. Especially at the Tee-ball age.

How do I know what sizes to get?

Be sure to think about the size of your player compared to the average size for their age group. 

When are games and practices for Rec Baseball?

Games are on Saturdays. Tee-ball will be the first games of the day, where Majors will be the last. 

Practices are on the following days: 

  • Tee-ball: Scheduled by Coaches
  • Bantam: Monday
  • Minors: Tuesday
  • Majors: Wednesday
